I'm hoping that my unfamiliarity with the edit side of Resolve has caused me to miss some obvious settings or menus. Display multicam angle name in the timeline and source viewer. Click and drag your title template into your composition. Make sure you change the right side view to Dual (by the Inspector) and the left side view to Multicam. Go to the Edit tab and go to Effects Library > Titles. Go to Blackmagic Design > DaVinci Resolve > Fusion > Templates > Edit > Titles. Marker keywords column on the edit index. Find where the Blackmagic Design folder is on your operating system. This sort of setup is trivial to do in Avid, annoying but relatively painless to set up in Premiere, and a dealbreaker for me if I can't get it to work. Keyword support added to clip and timeline markers. Render in place and open in Fusion actions. i found this tutorial: which had a workaround that ends up with what I'm looking for but A) its very convoluted and B) it doesn't look like the settings would be persevered if I edited in a new instance of the multicam. Support for showing up to 25 simultaneous multicam angles on the viewer. Resolve seems to default to nesting all tracks together. Right-click your file in the timeline and hit Switch Multicam Clip Angle > choose the clip you want to match the main audio (you can also use this option for audio if you have more than one recording). I need to make multicam clips synced to separate audio and I need the multicam clips to edit into the timeline with individual mono tracks that match the production audio ie If I have 3 lavs and a boom I want those to be separate mono tracks that I can adjust in my edit timeline. Make sure you change the right side view to Dual (by the Inspector) and the left side view to Multicam. However I have hit a big snag that may kill this experiment for now. I normally edit in Premiere but was thinking this was a great time to try out editing in Resolve. In the media page, click on ClipA and scroll through to where you want the sync point, then press m. I'm about to start a narrative edit for a friend of mine.
